The Mount Sinai Text

Everybody has heard of the 10 Commandments, yet few could quote them. That includes self-proclaimed Christians. . 60% of Americans could not name 5 of the 10 Commandments. (Grossman, 2007) In fact, only 14% can name all 10 Commandments.
The Mount Sinai Text is a comprehensive look at the 10 Commandments. It looks at the biblical genesis of these commandments. It also explores historical influences that may have come into play when Moses wrote them.
When the commandments are presented, it is accompanied with commentary to give a fuller explanation of the meaning of the commandment. Many don’t realize that there is much more to the commandments than just the literal writing.
The Mount Sinai Text was written to not only review the 10 Commandments but as a guideline as to what the divine laws of God are. Jesus tells us live by these laws if we are to be faithful to Him.
